Ali Bedni Bugyal trek

The Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek is a breathtaking journey through some of the stunning alpine meadows in the Indian Himalayas, located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The trek is famous for its vast, undulating grasslands—Ali Bugyal and Bedni Bugyal—which sit like green carpets at high altitude, surrounded by dense forests, snow-clad peaks, and open skies. These meadows are among the highest in Asia and feel almost surreal when you walk through them, especially with the Trishul and Nanda Ghunti peaks towering in the background.

In one moment you’re under a canopy of trees, and the next, you’re out in the open with the horizon stretching endlessly before you. The calm and stillness of the meadows, especially in the early morning light or during sunset, is almost meditative.
